Tom Soehn, 2003 - Tom recorded 19 goals, 18 assists and 51 points during his 1984-87 Western Illinois soccer career, ranking as one of the Leathernecks’ all-time leading scorer and twice earning all-conference honors.

He spent 10 years playing professional soccer, helping the Chicago Fire to the 1998 MLS Cup title. In 2000 he was named the Fox Sports Net Player of the Year, the New York Life Humanitarian of the Year and the American Lung Association Educator of the Year.
