Western Illinois Athletics and the Department of Broadcasting will expand their coverage reach with a new collaboration that will feature live Leatherneck sporting events on an ESPN platform (ESPN+).
ESPN+ is a direct-to-consumer subscription streaming with access to thousands of additional live sporting events, original content and shows, and on-demand video library. Fans can subscribe to ESPN+ for just $11.99 a month (or $119.99 per year) and cancel at any time.
HOW TO WATCH ESPN+ ONLINE:
A subscription to ESPN+ is available for purchase via the ESPN App and ESPN.com, and fans can only access ESPN+ content after they have subscribed.
Subscribers can watch ESPN+ in the ESPN+ tab of the latest version of the ESPN App, on the web, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV (Generation 3 & 4), Android Handset, Roku, Chromecast, FireTV, XBOX One, Playstation 4, Oculus Go and Samsung connected TVs (Tizen).
Video streaming via ESPN+ is not available outside the US at this time.

- Visit www.espn.com/watch/
- Scroll down to see the list of sporting events occurring under the live, upcoming, or on replay tap.
- Find and select the Western Illinois sporting event you would like to watch.
- Select your TV provider from the drop down menu and sign in.
- Wait for the connection to be made for the live streaming.

HOW TO WATCH ESPN+ ON YOUR SMART PHONE:
iPhone Users:
1. Click on the App Store icon on the home screen of your iPhone
2. Select the “Search” button at the bottom of the screen. Click in the “Search” text box at the top of your screen and type in, “ESPN”.
3. Select the ESPN app from the list of apps that appear. Click on the +GET button on top right of your screen.
4. Enter your iTunes password into the text box and click “Okay”. Wait for the application to download onto the home screen of your iPhone.
5. Click on the ESPN app on your home screen and wait for it to appear. Once it appears, search through the available programming from ESPN. Click on

Android Users:
1. Tap the Apps icon on the bottom-right of your Android home screen. Swipe left and right until you find the Play Store icon, select it.
2. Select the magnifying glass in the top-right and type in, “ESPN”.
3. Select the ESPN app from the list of apps that appear. Click on the “Install” button and the app will begin downloading.
4. Once the download and installation is complete, tap the Open button in the Play Store listing to open your ESPN app. Once it appears, search through the available programming from ESPN. Click on the program or game that you want to watch and wait for it to start streaming to your phone. This works best on Wi-Fi.
