Eldon Atwood (deceased),1985 - A graduate of Pittsfield High School, Eldon was an outstanding four-sport athlete at Western from 1938 to 1941. After serving as an Army Sergeant during World War II, he went on to a distinguished career in education, including 27 years as Regional Superintendent of Pike County District Schools.
