Dennis Mantick, 2003 - Dennis was a three-year starter at second base for the Leathernecks who set five single-season records and one career mark from 1973-75. The 1974 All-American recorded 59 hits, scored 43 runs, stole 19 bases and hit nine triples, which still stands as a Western Illinois season record. As co-captain in 1975, he was named an Outstanding College Athlete of America. Dennis ended his three-year career with the Western Illinois record for most total bases.
