Leroy "Stix" Morley (deceased),1974 - Morley played football, basketball and track from 1925-29. Stix is Western's most successful basketball coach (1947-1969).
During a span between 1953 and 1957, his teams won 123 games while losing only 21, and were always among the nation's top small college teams. In addition to his basketball coaching, Stix served as assistant football and head track coach during his tenure.
