NOTRE DAME, IN. - The WIU Track and Field team competed at the Meyo Invite, rewriting the school record books yet again.
Logan Beckmier delivered an outstanding race in the 5000m, finishing 24th overall. With a time of 14:36.27s, Beckmier finds his way into the school record book earning the number one spot for the men's 5000m, setting a new personal record. Robert Perry attended but did not finish in the 5000m race.
On the women's side, Madison Trevena finished 33rd overall in the women's 5000m with a time of 3:04.64 marking a new personal best.
The Leathernecks head to Iowa State University for the Iowa State Classic on February 8.
