MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois Track and Field looks to build on its strong performance at the Musco Twilight where the Leathernecks collected multiple event wins, season bests and personal records across the board. A standout performance came from Maleigha Huston who captured the 800m title in 2:08.26 a personal best that ranks No. 2 all time in program history and earned her Co Female Athlete of the Week honors in the OVC. The Leathernecks also picked up wins in the 4x100m relay and triple jump while several athletes added key PRs and top finishes to round out a strong team effort heading into the next meet.
