Leatherneck Track and Field Set for Competition at the Musco Twilight

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois Track and Field is looking to build on a strong weekend of competition across the Drake Relays, Kip Janvrin Open, and Monmouth College, where the Leathernecks combined for multiple event victories, personal records, and a school record performance. Highlights included Kelly Fern's pair of pole vault wins, Kelsey Hutchins moving to sixth all-time in the triple jump, and standout relay performances at Drake, capped by a record-setting distance medley relay. Western also saw numerous top finishes and PRs on the track and in the field, continuing its momentum heading into the Musco Twilight.

COMPETING TEAMS | The meet will feature a competitive field of programs, including men's teams from Hevel Track Club, State Fair CC, the University of Chicago, Creighton, Cornell College, Grinnell, Iowa, Drake, Northern Iowa, and Western Illinois, along with women's teams from Creighton, Iowa, Cornell College, Drake, Lindenwood, Northern Iowa, and Western Illinois.
