MACOMB, Ill- The Western Illinois Baseball and Softball teams have changed their upcoming home OVC Conference Series' versus Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech.
WIU Softball was originally supposed to play a doubleheader against Tennessee State on Saturday, April 5 at 1 and 3:30 PM with a single game on Sunday, April 6 at 1 PM. With the predicted weather forecast for this weekend, the new schedule for Leatherneck Softball will feature a doubleheader on Sunday, April 6 at 1:30 and 3:30 PM with a single game now being played on Monday, April 7 at 1 PM. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Leatherneck Baseball team was originally supposed to play a three game series versus Tennessee Tech starting on Friday, April 4th at 2 PM with the next two games on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 being played at 1 PM. The series was pushed back a day due to the weather forecast and WIU Baseball will now start their series on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 at 2 PM with the last game of the series being played on Monday, April 7 at 1 PM. There will be one radio broadcast on Saturday, April 5 and there will be no ESPN+ stream for the series.
