MACOMB, IL - Leatherneck Cross Country traveled to Peoria, IL to compete in the Bradley Pink Classic hosted at Bradley. The competition saw many Leathernecks record high marks.
Women's Red (6k)
Lydia Bennett (21:52.29) recorded a 23-second personal best while becoming #4 all-time in the 6k at Western Illinois. Deana Hudson (23:03.07) also posted a personal record. Aylana Cezar (23:08.06) notched a season-best performance. Emma-Kate Watt (23:20.46), Finley Hancock (23:38.66), and Cassandra Brushaber (24:39.12) each recorded personal bests.
Women's White (6k)
Senior Aurora Dominguez led Western Illinois in the women's white division at the Bradley Pink Classic, finishing in (23:28.91) with a season-best performance. Freshman Lily Patterson followed with a time of (24:18.41) for a personal best. Freshman Ellie Eastman crossed in (24:27.51). Junior Caley Murphy rounded out the Leatherneck lineup with a 32-second personal best at (25:44.07).
Men's Red (8k)
Junior Logan Beckmier led Western Illinois in the men's red division at the Bradley Pink Classic, finishing in (25:36.82). Freshman Brody Harker followed with a time of (26:25.03). Sophomore Eason Comer crossed in (26:43.24) with a season-best performance, while freshman Evan Eberhart rounded out the Leatherneck finishers with a (27:06.29) performance.

The Leathernecks showed significant improvement and depth across the board at the Bradley Pink Classic, with multiple personal bests, season-best performances, and standout efforts like Lydia Bennett's #4 all-time 6k mark. The team will look to ride this momentum into the OVC Conference Meet on October 31, aiming to build on their strong individual and team performances.
