Eighty Student Athletes Set to Graduate this Spring

WIU student-athletes will graduate on May 13-14 inside Western Hall

MACOMB, Ill. - A total of 80 Leatherneck student-athletes will cap off their time at Western Illinois University and graduate with their undergraduate and graduate degrees on Friday and Saturday (May 13-14) during the spring commencement ceremony inside Western Hall.

Among the graduates, Lindsey Kuitse will graduate with Summa Cum Laude honors and will also serve as a Commencement Marshal. Jacob Judd, Karissa Kouchis and Liz Skotowski will graduate Magna Cum Laude. The Cum Laude graduates include Sarah Hall, Kacyee Hart, Lizzie Hollopeter, Jordan Jackson, Victoria Kappel, Daniel Melnick and Sarah Rosenhauer.

Tyler Chavez (finance), Austin Gochneaur (economics, B.A.), Hall (Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration), Kouchis (communication and journalism) and Kuitse (religious studies and spanish) will be honored as Departmental Scholars.
