SENIOR (2015): Honorable Mention All-MVFC... started every game of his WIU career... ended 2015 with 40 tackles, 7.0 tackles for a loss and team-leading 11 quarterback hurries... recorded a tackle, pass break-up and quarterback hurry against Eastern Illinois... made two tackles at Illinois, including one for a loss... four of his then career-high tying five tackles at Coastal Carolina were solo stops... three solo tackles, a pass break-up and two quarterback hurries against Southern Illinois... quarterback hurry against South Dakota... three tackles, including one for a loss, at UNI... started at Illinois State and made a solo tackle... career-high eight tackles against Youngstown State, including one for a loss, and added a quarterback hurry... assisted tackle at North Dakota State... four tackles at Indiana State, including one for a loss... five solo tackles with a sack and 2.0 TFL against South Dakota State... also forced a fumble... four tackles, a pass break-up and season-high four quarterback hurries at Dayton... two solo tackles, including one for a loss, in the playoff game at Illinois State.

JUNIOR (2014): MVFC All-Newcomer Team... started all 12 games along the defensive line... recorded 35 tackles (26 solos) with 6.0 tackles for loss and shared the team-lead with 3.5 sacks... one pass break-up... Transferred to Western after spending three years at Virginia Tech... made two tackles, including a shared for a loss, in his debut with the Leathernecks versus Valparaiso... four tackles, with one going for a loss, at Wisconsin... five tackles, including 1.5 for a loss, versus Drake... two solo tackles at Northwestern... matched season-high of five tackles and broke up a pass at Southern Illinois... three solo tackles, including a 10-yard sack, against North Dakota State... four tackles and a sack at Youngstown State... three tackles against Illinois State... two tackles, including a 4-yard sack, against Northern Iowa... solo tackle at South Dakota... three solo tackles at South Dakota State... solo tackle against Indiana State.

Enrolled in January and will have two years of eligibility remaining to play for the Leathernecks… AT VIRGINIA TECH: Spent three years with the Hokies program… redshirted in 2011… played in 10 games as a redshirt-freshman… recorded six tackles and an interception (versus Cincinnati)… saw action versus Rutgers in the Russell Athletic Bowl… made two tackles his sophomore year against Western Carolina, his only game action of the year. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned All-America honors by SuperPrep and PrepStar… member of the ESPNU 150 squad… three-year starter… finished senior year with 46 tackles, including seven for a loss and six sacks… First Team All-Class 5A… helped Warren Central win a state title in 2009… was a track state shot put champion in 2010… during his junior year recorded 91 tackles, 19 tackles for a loss and five sacks… was ranked as the No. 12 defensive tackle by ESPN.com/Scouts, Inc… MaxPreps listed him as the No. 14 defensive tackle in the country… overall was the No. 22 player on the Midwest 144 by SuperPreps… played for coach John Hart… lettered in football and track. 

PERSONAL: Born September 22, 1992 in Indianapolis, Indiana… No. 1 sports highlight was winning the state football title in 2009… his mom has been a major influence, “She is at every single one of my games.”… enjoys listening to music… favorite professional team is the Indianapolis Colts… son of Eddie and Terilyn Hoke.
