Final Round of Indiana State Cancelled for Women's Golf

Rain in the Terre Haute, Ind. area forces ISU Invite to be cancelled; Leathernecks finish tied for third

FINAL RESULTS

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Western Illinois women's golf finished tied for third place with a 313 in the 2016 Indiana State Spring Invitational after the final day was cancelled due to weather.

The Leathernecks were led by Alex Krehbiel who hit a 76 in round one, which put her in a tie for seventh place overall. One stroke behind Krehbiel was Allie Leingang and Allison Farrell who each tied for 12th place with scores of 77.

Western is back in action April 18-20 with The Summit League Championships in Nebraska City, Neb.
