Women's Golf Tied for Third Following Day One of Indiana State Invite

The Leathernecks hold a score of 313 after round one.

DAY ONE RESULTS

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Western Illinois women's golf concluded day one of Indiana State's Invitational Sunday afternoon in a tie for third place with an opening round score of 313.

Alex Krehbiel led WIU in round one with a 76, which put her in a tie for seventh place heading into the second and final round. One stroke behind Krehbiel was Allie Leingang and Allison Farrell who each carded a 77 in round one and are tied for 12th overall.

Anna Cullinan and Julie Whalen rounded out WIU's 'Top 5', each tallying marks of 83 and sitting tied for 50th place.

Golfing as an individual is Katie McTaggart. The freshman is tied for 73rd with an 88.
