Free Pizza for Students at the Soccer Doubleheader this Sunday

Students can show up to John MacKenzie Alumni Field this Sunday (Nov. 1) for the women's and men's soccer games and get free pizza

MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois is scheduled to celebrate its men's and women's soccer seniors this Sunday (Nov. 1) with a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m., and there will be free pizza for WIU students who show up to John Mackenzie Alumni Field. A total 14 seniors who will play their final home match will be honored between the men's and women's programs.

The women's team begins the #W1U soccer doubleheader with their regular season finale at 11 a.m. against North Dakota State. Prior to the women's match, seniors Victoria Kappel, Gina Scaffidi, Skyler Jessop, Lindsey Kuitse, Daniela Salinas and Meagan Wilson will be honored. The men's team will play their final regular season game to conclude the doubleheader, facing IUPUI at 1:30 p.m. Prior to the men's match, seniors Austin Gochneaur, Kyle Walton, Ephraim Okeke, Tyler Chavez, Maclean Johnson, Erick Bloom, Ken Tryggestad and Sammuel Worsley.

Don't forget, free pizza for all WIU students who come to both or either soccer match Sunday.
