MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois men's soccer added a new face to its 2025 signing class, announcing the addition of Andrea Morra, a striker from Richmond Hill, Ontario.
Morra currently plays for Woodbridge Soccer Club, where he has been part of several successful squads, including teams that captured the 2023 OPDL Cup, the 2025 PDP National Championship, and multiple OPDL Premier League titles from 2023 to 2025. He also competed with Woodbridge's League 1 U20 team during the 2025 season.
In addition to his club success, Morra has competed in some of the top youth tournaments across North America, including the Dallas Cup, PDP Nationals, and the Umbro Super Cup. He attends Bill Crothers Secondary School, home of the Colts, and is set to graduate in June 2026.
Morra chose Western Illinois after connecting with the coaching staff and team, noting that WIU felt like the right fit for continuing his soccer career and academic journey. He plans to major in Business.
