Western Illinois track and field student-athlete Brad Walls has been named this week's WIU Hampton Inn Scholar Athlete of the Week.

Walls set a personal-best by nearly two-feet in the weight throw at the Missouri Invitational (Jan. 20) with a mark of 55-0 to place third.

The Wauconda, Ill. native currently boasts a 3.71 GPA as an exercise science major.
