WESTERN ILLINOIS WOMEN'S SOCCER ANNOUNCES 2026 SCHEDULE

MACOMB, Ill. – Western Illinois Women's Soccer has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring nine home matches at John MacKenzie Alumni Field and a challenging slate of opponents from the Missouri Valley, Horizon, Summit, and Ohio Valley conferences.

The Leathernecks begin preparations for the season at home against Northern Illinois on Aug. 6 before also hosting Quincy and Indiana State.

Western officially opens the regular season on Aug. 16 with a trip to Southern Illinois before traveling to Valparaiso on Aug. 20. The Leathernecks return to Macomb for their regular-season home opener against Eastern Washington on Aug. 23, then head to South Dakota State on Aug. 27 before closing the month by hosting Green Bay on Aug. 30.

The nonconference schedule continues in September with a road match at Drake on Sept. 2 and a home contest against Northern Iowa on Sept. 6. Western then travels to UIC on Sept. 10 before welcoming Illinois State to Macomb on Sept. 13. The Leathernecks wrap up nonconference play on Sept. 19 with a trip to Butler.

Ohio Valley Conference play begins Sept. 27 when Western hosts SEMO. The Leathernecks will also welcome SIUE on Oct. 15 and Morehead State on Oct. 25 while making conference road trips to Eastern Illinois (Oct. 4), Southern Indiana (Oct. 11), and Lindenwood (Nov. 1).
