MACOMB, Ill.- The Western Illinois University women's golf team competed in a two-round event for the YSU Spring Invitational tournament, showing strength across the tournament.
Round 1:
WIU opened the tournament by showing how consistent they can be. Sophia Thorne led the Leathernecks with an opening-round 87 (+17). Cianna Law followed closely with an 86 (+16), with Dina Khvastovich recording a 92 (+22)
Round 2:
The Leathernecks maintained a similar pace in round two, with slight improvements in consistency. Law led WIU, finishing with an 80 (+10). Khvastovic added an 80 (+10), and Thorne recorded an 81 (+11).

The WIU team will hit the road to face off in the Murray State Jan Weaver Invitational from April 10-12 to wrap up their regular season.
