FRESHMAN (2024-25): Played in eight of 10 events...Best finish was T16 at Stampede at the Creek...Had five top 35 finishes

BEFORE WIU: Sophia had an accomplished prep career, qualifying twice for the Illinois High School State Tournament and earning all-conference honors multiple times. Thorne finished first in 2023 the conference tournament, helping her team win a conference championship. Thorne holds a personal best 69 on the golf course.
