Macomb, IL - The Western Illinois Women's Golf Team wraps up their season at the OVC tournament in Dalton, Georgia.

The Western Illinois women's golf team wrapped up competition at the Jan Weaver Invitational, turning in a steady three-round performance across the event. Sophia Thorne led the way for the Leathernecks, finishing at +25 to place 41st overall after posting rounds of 76, 78, and 82. Cianna Law followed at +32 (T44), highlighted by a strong final round 81, while Dina Khvastovich closed at +40 in 47th place after also carding an 81 in the final round. WIU showed consistency throughout the tournament and gained valuable experience across all three rounds.
Golf Course
The OVC Tournament is held at the Dalton Golf and Country Club. The course is a par 72 with 18 rounds that plays 6,100 yards. The OVC Tournament is a three-round tournament that will kick off Sunday morning.

Southern Indiana, Lindenwood, Tennessee Tech, Tennessee State, Little Rock, Eastern Illinois, Bryant, Morehead State
