MACOMB, Ill. – The Western Illinois University women's tennis team hit the road to face Bradley and St. Thomas in Peoria. This is the third season under coach Luke Ogren. Last year, the Leathernecks went 12-9 overall.

PREVIOUSLY | Western Illinois earned a 4–3 comeback win on the road at Valparaiso, overcoming an early deficit after doubles play by winning four singles matches. Mana Fawcett and Nour Gueblaoui each picked up straight-set victories, while Chloe Routier rallied after dropping her first set. Nadezhda Petkova sealed the team win with a three-set battle, securing the decisive fourth point for the Leathernecks.
ABOUT THE LEATHERNECKS | Western Illinois returns 11 players from last year's lineup, including last season's No. 1 and No. 2 singles players, Richardlyne Francois and Nour Gueblaoui. Mana Fawcett returns to the squad, along with Denver Johnson, Nadezhda Petkova, Lara Rossetto Diniz de Souza, Chloe Routier, and Anna-Evelina Trush. The Leathernecks also welcome junior Jessica Hess from Southern University.
