MACOMB, IL. – Western Illinois Track & Field has released its full 2025–26 competition schedule, featuring a balanced indoor and outdoor lineup that will take the Leathernecks across the Midwest from December through May. The season includes several familiar meets, split-weekend competitions, and both the indoor and outdoor Ohio Valley Conference Championships.

INDOOR SEASON
The Leathernecks open their campaign Dec. 12–13 at the Jimmy Grant Invitational in Iowa City. They return to Iowa City Jan. 23–24 for the Larry Wieczorek Invitational, marking their second early-season test.

A busy stretch follows Jan. 30–31, when Western Illinois will compete at both the DeLoss Dodds Invitational in Manhattan, Kansas, and the Meyo Invite in South Bend.

February begins with two more meets on Feb. 6. The team will split between the Missouri Invitational in Columbia and the IWU Multi hosted by Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington. WIU then heads to Chicago for the Badger Windy City Invitational, held Feb. 13–14.

The indoor regular season comes to a close on Feb. 20 at the Iowa Open, leading into the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships from Feb. 23–25.
