Hattiesburg, MS- The Western Illinois Women's Golf team finished in ninth place at The Judson tournament shooting a 942 as a team (+78). The Leathernecks shot their best round of the Fall in round two of The Judson shooting a 298. (+10)

Gabriela Galindo Rubio led the way for WIU shooting a 228 (+12) and finishing the tournament T24. Rubio had five birdies in round two including four birdies on the front nine. She birdied on back-to-back holes twice on the front nine with birdies on holes two and three as well as holes seven and eight. She finished the second round shooting a 72 (E).

The Leathernecks will now be off until the spring season which includes the OVC Championship and the WIU Intercollegiate at TPC Deere Run.
