Omaha, Neb - The Leatherneck Women's Golf team took part in the Big O Classic. The team finished in 4th place with a 955 score (+91).

Olivia Kerr had a top-10 finish shooting a 232 (+16). Kerr shot a pair of 78s in the first and second round. Kerr's best round was round three where she shot a 76. Kerr had 12 pars in round one. In round two, Kerr birdied her first hole. Kerr's back nine in round two wrapped up with a birdie on hole 17 and an eagle on hole 18. In round three, Kerr had one birdie on the front nine. Kerr finished the tournament with back-to-back birdies.

Mia Scrimgeour finished inside the top-20 shooting a 238 (+22). Scrimgeour shot a 79 in round one. Scrimgeour followed that with an 80 in round two. She finished her final round today shooting a 79. Scrimgeour had 11 pars on round one. Scrimgeour had eight pars on round two as well as a pair of birdies. Scrimgeour added 10 pars and one birdie in round three. 

Abby Hunter also had a top-20 finish shooting a 241 (+25). Hunter shot an 82 in round one. Hunter finished the tournament strong, shooting a 78 in round two, and an 81 in round three. Hunter had 10 pars on round one. Hunter shot her first birdie in round two on the first hole. Hunter had 12 pars for the round. Hunter shot eight pars and one birdie in the final round. 

The team will be back in action on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7 when they travel to Peoria, IL to play in the Coyote Creek Classic.
