Rossetto Diniz de Souza earns Summit honors

Freshman named Summit League Honorable Mention

It was a strong debut season for Western Illinois freshman Lara Rossetto Diniz de Souza, who was named Honorable Mention for the Summit League on Thursday.

Rossetto Diniz de Souza led the team in singles victories this year, with nine. Playing mostly in the No. 2 singles spot this spring, Rossetto Diniz de Souza had a strong end to the 2023 spring season, winning her final three singles matches.
