QUOTABLE:
We are looking forward to the Summit League Championships at Sand Creek Station," interim head coach Lia Biehl Lukkarinen said. "It's been there the last few years, so some of the team has on course experience.  Driving and iron accuracy will be at a premium.  If the men play to their potential, we will do very well."

Also in final home event, John Duggan III was consistent to end up at 148 (+4). Cameron Karney rounded out the WIU Purple lineup with a 151 (+7).

Wyatt Spier led the way for the Western Illinois Gold team with a 144 (E) to tie for ninth place while Dennis Reedy carded a 149 (+5). Joe Burke from Macomb showed an eight-stroke improvement from round one to round two (82-74) for a total of 156 (+12).

The biggest improvement by a WIU player came from Nick Ceruzzi transforming his first round score of 89 to a 76 in the second round as he ended up with a 165 (+21). Macomb native Graham Conrad was right behind with a 166 (+22). The Gold squad finished play in sixth place after a combined team score of 608 (+32).
