MACOMB, Ill.- The Western Illinois Men's Golf Team adds to its 2026 roster following National Signing Day, welcoming newcomer Adam Murphy.

Murphy comes to Western Illinois from Gidea Park, Essex, where he competed for the Campion School Hornchurch and completed his A Levels as a senior. He earned the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award as a freshman and has seen success on the course, winning the County Scratch Junior Final and finishing as the County Scratch Men's Final Runner-Up twice.

Murphy chose Western Illinois after building a strong connection with Coach Zimmerman, noting that he believes the coaching, support, and development environment at WIU will help him grow both as an athlete and as a person.
