Western's Last Outing
The Leathernecks left the Musco Twilight with six wins, split between seeded and unseeded races.

Freshman Tia Dorshorst cashed in on her first collegiate win in the pole vault with a mark of 3.40 meters which ranks seventh all-time in Western's outdoor records, and senior Lucas Lingle joined her in eclipsing his previous record with the program's seventh fastest 3,000-meter run (8:50.96).

Western Outdoor Marks
The 2019 outdoor season has captured several all-time marks as well as a school record.

With the 25th best long jump in the nation, Bo Brassuer tallied the farthest leap in school history with a 6.23-meter performance at the Mizzou Open (April 6), and she now possesses the Leathernecks' indoor and outdoor records in the event.  The meet also saw Isaiah LeSure and Michaela crack their respective 'Top 10' lists. The men's long jump list went untouched for 10 seasons until LeSure's effort while the women's 100-meter hurdle rankings went unscathed since 2004.

At the Musco Twilight (April 13), Tia Dorshorst and Lucas Lingle improved upon their previous all-time marks.

•    Brasseur | Long Jump | 20-5.25 (6.23) (W) | 1st
•    LeSure | Long Jump | 24-00.75 (7.33) (W) | 7th
•    Dorshorst | Pole Vault | 11-1.75 (3.40) | 7th
•    Lingle | 3,000-Meter Run | 8:50.96 | 7th
•    Busch | 100-M Hurdles | 14.59 | 9th

They each medaled at the indoor league championships in the long jump, pentathlon, and the 60-meter hurdles, respectively.

Next Up
