Last Outing
Splitting the series, Western scored a season-high nine runs in a 9-3 victory over Fort Wayne this past Saturday. Bailey Montgomery and Justin Fitzpatrick each tallied home runs in the game while Ryan Dunne picked up his first Leatherneck win.

The Leathernecks dropped the finale, 6-1.

A Job Well Dunne
Senior righty Ryan Dunne currently leads all Summit League pitchers with 43 strikeouts. He fanned nine, a career-high, at Evansville (March 3) and recorded eight in his first career win at Fort Wayne (March 31).

Dunne has pitched 42.0 innings, the second most in the conference, and has a 4.29 ERA which ranks ninth behind teammate Ian Koch (4.27).

Keep It Going
Deion Thompson and Johnathan Fleek remain the only two Leathernecks to have competed in every game this season. They are producing similar numbers with Thompson hitting .266 and Fleek .263, and they combine for 41 hits and 18 RBIs.

Leading the Leathernecks
Bailey Montgomery guides Western with a .288 batting average. He has 15 hits on the year, and earned his first Leatherneck home run, a two-run blast, at Fort Wayne (March 31).

The junior went 3-for-3 at the plate in back-to-back games (North Dakota State & Maryville), and a two-out bunt single in the latter contest helped the Leathernecks to a 4-3 win.

Scouting the Opposition
Bradley (14-7) visits Macomb after tabbing a series win over Valparasio. The Braves have a 9-6 record on the road, and have four starters hitting above .300.

Mitch Janssen is expected to start, and has a 8.20 ERA in 18.2 innings of play.

On Deck
Western begins a three-game set against Oral Roberts Friday at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium.
