Panthers Take Down Leathernecks in Milwaukee

RESULTS

MACOMB, Ill. - The Fighting Leatherneck swimming & diving teams traveled to Milwaukee, Wis. to square off with the Panthers on Saturday afternoon. UW-M men took the dual 211-62 and the women defeated Western by a score of 205-59.

"We had a very tough loss today, said head coach Greg Naumann. UW-Milwaukee is a very strong and deep team on the men's and women's side. We are still training hard and just trying to stay positive as we move forward."

Some of the stronger swims and results of the day include the women's 200-yard Medley Relay. Alayna Colley, Paige Wolfe, Shawn Fitzpatrick and Allison Calewarts turned in a time of 1:41.45. Ben Irle was strong in the men's 200-yard Freestyle and finished in 2:00.29. David Rilott continues to look like a strong addition to the team as a very experienced competitor. Rilott swam the 50-yard Freestyle in 23.17 and finished third.

Calewarts continued her strong debut season for the Leathernecks with a second place finish in the 100-yard Freestyle (58.97).
