INDIANAPLOIS, Ind. - The Fighting Leatherneck Swimming and Diving program continued their 2010-11 campaign with a trip to the House of Champions Meet hosted by IUPUI. Several teams competed over the two-day event. The men finished with a team score of 293 and the women finished with a 238.5. Other teams competing were Ball State, Xavier, Centre College, IUPUI, Indianapolis and Butler. Ball State took home both the men's and women's team title.
"I thought our team swam well. We did not put our fastest line up out there due to nagging injuries but we did get a lot of extra swims that we would not have normally have seen in a dual meet," said head coach Greg Naumann.
Western Illinois will be off until December when they travel to Kenosha, Wis. to participate in the TYR/CollegeSwimming.com Invite on Dec. 3-4.
