MACOMB, Ill.- Western Illinois women's soccer head coach
Tony Guinn has announced the final addition to the Westerwinds' 2008 recruiting class, signing sophomore
Jenn Sheehan, and increasing the total newcomers to 13.
Sheehan comes to Western after spending a year at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. While at Fanshawe, Sheehan was named Rookie of the Year for the Falcons and named to the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) Tournament All-Stars team.
The Whitby, Ontario, native attended Anderson Collegiate Vocational Institute where she spent three years on the varsity team. Sheehan was awarded with two MVP awards while playing for the Raiders.
Sheehan has also spent nine years playing club soccer for her hometown Whitby Iroquois Soccer Club. She was named the MVP of the team during her under-16 year.
Sheehan will join transfers Jennifer Green (Minnesota),
Jenna Schonert (Northern Iowa), and Andrea Cain (Iowa Central Community College), along with incoming freshmen

Laura Lins (Racine, Wis./William Horlick), Kirsty McGuckin (Ballymena, Northern Ireland/Community),
Nora Potempa (Tinley Park, Ill./Marist), and
Hillary Sauer (Stevens Point, Wis./Stevens Point Area).
