Western Illinois University Athletics

Ashley Dumler has been named Western Illinois' Hampton Inn Scholar-Athlete of the Week for her performance on the course and in the classroom.

Dumler finished second on the team and tied for 22nd overall in the 2017 Summit League Women's Golf Championships. The junior tied for the team's lowest round of the tournament, a 76 in round two. She finished with a 240 and posted scores of 81 and 83 in rounds one and three.

Overall on the season the junior owns a 79.14 stroke average in 22 rounds.

She owns a 3.468 GPA majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
