Junior Cord Church was named the Hampton Inn Scholar Athlete of the Week for his performance last week at North Dakota State.

The junior outfielder went 4-for-5 with five RBI, helping the Leathernecks take game two of the NDSU series winning 12-8. He entered the game with just four hits on the season and no RBI. He drew a walk and stole a base in the series.

Overall in 16 games played, Church is batting .222 with five runs scored and 4-of-5 in stolen bases.

Church owns a 3.76 GPA majoring in Biology.
