Two weeks after shattering his personal record in the javelin, Nick Olson continued to make waves in the event with Western Illinois' lone No. 1 finish on the day at Illinois State's Redbird Invite (April 14).

He recorded a mark of 49.68 meters (163'0") in his fourth attempt to set the effort to beat.
