MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois University was voted No. 25 in the Sports Network FCS Poll this week, to remain ranked in every regular-season poll this year.Â
Â
Falling out of the coaches' poll for the first time this year, the Leathernecks (5-4) are one of only two four-loss teams currently ranked in the media poll, receiving just five fewer points than 24th-ranked Liberty (8-2). Northern Iowa remained at No. 4 while Southern Illinois improved two spots to jump into the top 10. South Dakota State was ranked just one spot out of the top-25, and North Dakota State came in at No. 31.Â

The Leathernecks wrap up the season with a pair of home games against un-ranked Illinois State this Saturday and Youngstown State Nov. 22.
