Please make all practice requests on the visiting team travel form. You may schedule a one hour practice the day of or day before a game. If you will need access to a locker room, please make sure to indicate that on the Team Travel Form as well.
Mason Brock will be your visiting team liaison during your stay in Macomb.
Parking & Arrival:
Parking is available in the Q-Lot. Entrance to the lot is directly across from the entrance to Brophy Hall. As you enter Q-Lot, take your first right down the one way towards the garage door of Western Hall. You may unload your team bus here, but parking is not permitted. The team bus or vans will need to be parked back towards the entrance to Q-lot. Please refer to the parking diagram by
clicking here. Upon your arrival to campus, please contact Kyle. Gameday management staff will greet your team at the garage door and assist you to your locker room.
Parking on the Western Illinois campus is open on weekends and after 5:00PM on weekdays. Parking Services can be reached at (309) 298-1921 should you have any additional questions or concerns.
Video Information:
Western Illinois uses Volleymetrics and all volleyball matches in Western Hall will be filmed live. After each completed match, it will be uploaded to the Volleymetrics portal where they can be replayed.
Visiting Team filming areas are allowed up in the bleachers behind the service line.
Uniforms/Serve & Pass:
Visiting team will wear dark jerseys unless otherwise informed.
WIU will take serve pass from 120-90 minutes
Visiting Team will take serve/pass from 90-60 minutes
Post game interviews will be held in the Hall of Fame room, located in Western Hall, after the match. For any questions regarding these or any other media information contact Emma Hicken.
Should your team not be traveling with a certified athletic trainer, please contact Rowan Haverkamp to arrange treatments and other necessities ahead of time. The athletic training room wil be available two hours prior to the game. Please be in touch if you will need to facility prior to any practices to verify availability.

Western Hall & LeRoy A Ufkes Court
The Fighting Leathernecks play all home games at Western Hall. It features stadium-style seating and bleachers surrounding the maple floor, with capacity at 4,781 for all events and 4,421 for basketball games/volleyball matches.
Visiting Team Locker Room
Your locker room will be supplied with towels. The visiting locker room is to the left when walking in from the bus drop off, the east side of Western Hall.

In the unlikely event of an emergency on game day, Leatherneck Athletics and Western Illinois University will activate the Western Hall Emergency Action Plan.
Dangerous Lightning, Severe Thunderstorms & Tornados:
Should the WIU Athletics Staff determine that the possibility of severe thunderstorms or tornados exists, play will be suspended. Officials, teams, and spectators will be sheltered in accordance with the facility's Emergency Action Plan. The visiting team's emergency contact will be Mason Brock or the game management director.
Game Day Management will coordinate the evacuation/shelter of the following:
- Visiting Team, Coaches and Staff
- Home Team, Coaches and Staff
- Game Officials
- Spectators
