45th Annual Leatherneck Club Golf Classic Set

Golf scheduled for June 5, social on June 4

MACOMB, Ill. - The 45th Annual Leatherneck Club Golf Classic will be held on Monday, June 5, at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course at Western Illinois University.

The event gets underway on Sunday, June 4, with a Pre-Classic Party at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course from 6-8:30 p.m. In addition to hor d'oeuvres, cocktails and soft drinks, a putting contest will be held and musical entertainment provided by Kent Gray Solo Acoustic Show.

The Golf Classic begins with registration at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 5 and a shotgun start at noon. Lunch, courtesy of Jimmy John's, will be served on the course with dinner and the tournament awards immediately after play concludes.  

Cost for the golf outing, the pre-classic social and post-golf dinner is $125 ($500 for foursomes). Sponsorship opportunities are available by contacting Leatherneck Athletics at (309) 298-1190.
