WIU Women’s Golf heads to BGSU Falcon Florida Classic

WIU opens season in Florida

When: Monday, February 6 - February 7

Back in Action | Western Illinois Women's Golf team gets their spring season started at the BGSU Falcon Florida Classic. Katie Tanner who was selected as the Summit League Golfer to Watch leads the Leathernecks this fall. Other senior Natalie Hooper is also making the trip to the sunshine state as WIU number two golfer. Hooper broke the school record for lowest round with a 68 at the Coyote Creek Classic. The Leathernecks also won that tournament as a team.
 
Format | Teams will play 36 holes on Monday starting at 8:00 am. They will play the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
 
Competition | Akron University, Ball State University, Bowling Green University, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Illinois State University, University of Idaho, Northern Illinois University, Ohio University, University of Toledo, Western Michigan University
