WIU Women's Golf Ready to Attack the Cardinal Classic

WIU heads to Indiana for Cardinal Classic

Last Week | The Leathernecks headed to the MSU Payne Stewart Memorial to open up their fall season. Western finished in 10th place. WIU was led by Katie Tanner, who shot a who finished T-13 (+7). Kelly Wu started off her WIU Career on the right note. She totaled nine birdies in the three-round tournament.

Words from Coach Lia | "The team has played well there in the past," said WIU Director of Golf Lia Biehl Lukkarinen. "We are looking forward to building on our positives from last week at MSU. "

Tournament Format | The Cardinal Classic will be played at The Players Club. The golf course is a par 72, 6139 yards long. 36 holes will be played, on Monday, with the final 18 played on Tuesday.

Competition | Ball State, Oakland University, Eastern Michigan, IUPUI, Western Michigan, Purdue Fort Wayne, Ohio University, Loyola Chicago, Valparaiso, Akron, and Dayton.
