Western Illinois Athletics will not renew the contract of head coach Andy Pascoe

MACOMB, Ill. –  The Western Illinois University athletics department will not renew the contract of head baseball coach Andy Pascoe.
 
Pascoe's contract ends June 30
 
Pascoe was named the head coach of Leatherneck baseball on September 19, 2019, becoming the seventh manager in program history.  
 
Western Illinois went 8-44 last season.
 
In three seasons, the Leathernecks went 19-86 overall, including the COVID-19 shortened 2020 campaign. Western went 12-39 in the Summit League during that time.
 
Pitching coach and recruiting coordinator Tayler Sheriff has been appointed interim head coach.
