Baseball Season Opener Canceled

The 2021 season opener at Central Arkansas has been canceled.

CONWAY, Ark. - Due to unplayable field conditions caused by the recent winter weather, the Western Illinois baseball season-opening series at Central Arkansas has been canceled. 

Both teams were set to play a game on Sunday (Feb. 21) and a doubleheader on Monday (Feb. 21) after the series got adjusted because of winter weather. 

The Leathernecks will now open the 2021 season at Louisville next weekend, beginning on Friday (Feb. 26) at 2 p.m.
