Nate Davis finishes tied for third individually with a 143 (71-72)

NORMAL, Ill. - The final round of the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate has been cancelled due to rain and thunderstorms in the area. The results after Sunday's (Sept. 13) round two are final.

"Nate Davis had another outstanding tournament for us," said head coach Mel Blasi. "He strung three birdies together in round one to get himself near the lead. He was very consistent the rest of the way, highlighted by an eagle on the sixth hole which is a par five where he made a wedge shot from 90 yards. It was an outstanding field of teams and for Nate to finish third is a great accomplishment. The first round really hurt our team score. We played well in round two, and we were really looking forward to playing today (Sept. 15) but the heavy rains came early and the course was unplayable."
