Silva arrives in Macomb after four seasons at Towson University, where she played a key role in the program’s success, including a 21–7 record during the 2025 season. Working closely with defensive specialists, liberos and setters, she also contributed to the team’s offensive system. Her impact helped produce multiple All-Colonial Athletic Association selections, highlighted by Sydney Stewart, who earned CAA Libero of the Year honors, along with All-CAA Second Team selections Erin Brothers and Ella Sanders.

Prior to Towson, Silva spent one season as an assistant coach at Missouri Southern State. She also brings extensive club experience from her time with the Northern Virginia Volleyball Association, where she served as a full-time coach and interim technical director. Her additional collegiate coaching stops include roles as a volunteer assistant at George Mason and a graduate assistant at Valdosta State.

As a student-athlete, Silva competed at Florida International University, where she was a versatile presence for the Panthers. She led the team in assists and service aces as a junior while ranking among the top blockers in Conference USA. As a senior, she transitioned to middle blocker, finishing second on the team in total blocks and leading the squad in blocks per set. Silva began her collegiate career at Pratt Community College, earning All-Conference honors and KJCCC All-Tournament Team recognition.

A native of São José dos Campos, Brazil, Silva earned her bachelor’s degree in recreation and sport management from Florida International University and a master’s degree in exercise physiology from Valdosta State.
