BEFORE WIU: Thomas, an 8x Illinois class 3A state qualifier in the hurdles and pole vault, has shown great potential to be a future decathlete for the Leathernecks. With personal bests of 4.64 (15' 3") in the pole vault, 14.58 in the 100 hurdles, and 39.83 in the 300 hurdles, Thomas is one of the most versatile recruits of the 2023 signing class. As a senior, he finished second at the indoor state championships in the pole vault.
