2023-24: Ran the fourth-fastest indoor 60 meter time in program history (6.96) and 10th fastest 200 indoor time in program history (22.13). Finished 10th in the OVC Outdoor Championships in the 100 (10.95) and 200 (21.68) dash.

BEFORE WIU:Â With a personal best of 10.58 in the 100 meters, Barendilla will add some much needed depth to the Leatherneck short sprint group. He also contributed greatly on the East Lansing High School relay teams and has run 21.82 in the 200 meters.
