HIGH SCHOOL: Comes from Illini West High School in Carthage as a high jumper and sprinter. He set his school's record as a freshman in the high jump, and has since jumped a personal record of 6 feet-8 inches. His awards include being named First Team All-State for track and First-Team All-Conference. As a senior, his team earned Sectional, West Central Conference, and Illinois 1A Outdoor State Championships.
