MACOMB, Ill. — Western Illinois University Men's and Women's Golf have launched a fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $10,000 to help support the teams' 2027 Spring Break trip to Nashville.
The fundraiser provides Leatherneck fans, alumni, families and supporters with an opportunity to directly support WIU student-athletes and their competitive and team-building experiences. Funds raised will help offset the costs associated with the team's Spring Break trip.
As an added incentive, every $100 donated earns one raffle ticket for a chance to win a variety of WIU Golf prizes. Raffle prizes include a travel opportunity with the men's or women's golf team during the 2027–28 season, WIU Golf apparel and gear, a team-issued golf bag, a free foursome for the WIU Golf Outing, and a free foursome at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course at WIU.
"We're excited to give our supporters an opportunity to be part of our golf programs while helping our student-athletes have a memorable Spring Break experience," said Charlton Zimmerman, Director of Golf. "Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us move closer to our $10,000 goal."
Donors can contribute online and enter the raffle through by clicking here or text WIUGOLF to the number 41444. Questions about the fundraiser can be directed to wiugolf@wiu.edu.
