Western Illinois Women’s Bowling Signs Karlie Einck

MACOMB, Ill.- Western Illinois University bowling has announced the signing of Karlie Einck to its 2026 class.

A graduate of Decorah High School, Einck brings an impressive resume highlighted by four years of varsity experience and success at both the conference and state levels. As a senior, she earned first-team all-conference, first-team all-district, and first-team all-state honors while serving as team captain. She also claimed the individual district championship and placed 11th individually at the state tournament.

Einck's success has been steady throughout her high school career. During her junior season, she once again earned first-team all-conference, all-district, and all-state recognition while capturing another individual district title. She followed that performance with a fourth-place individual finish at the state tournament. As a sophomore, she secured first-team all-conference and second-team all-district honors while winning the individual district championship. Einck made an immediate impact as a freshman as well, earning first-team all-conference honors in her first varsity season.

In addition to her individual awards, Einck played a key role in leading her team to the 2026 Class 2A Girls Team State Championship, showcasing her ability to contribute to team success on the biggest stage.

Einck chose Western Illinois for its welcoming environment and campus atmosphere. "I chose WIU because of the great community and nice campus," she said.
